My library

We're thinking of renting out our condo in about a year and buying something else, but for the moment, my library is going up in the second bedroom.

I had a lot of water damage, so about one bankers box worth of books is going into the trash, sadly. I'm assembling another bankers box to take to a book swap. (caprine, is June's SF Meetup the book and media swap?) Probably not done filling that box, either.

I'm arranging by subject. I already have a full shelf of ghost books, two of Catholicism which I'm trying to arrange into theology, apologetics, Mariology and religious biography. I figure the fine tuning can go later; right now I want to get rid of boxes and all the books that are scattered on the floor. I'm looking forward to arranging my "occult" section because there are books in there I didn't know I had. Lots of reading ahead.

The history section is populated by many of Steve's books, for once, since his B.A. was History. electorprince managed to put up the shelves and get books on them randomly. I think he'll have a whee of a time when he sees all of them filled up. He made it back to Austin and I think a mention of "carne asada fries" and "Chicken Pie Shop" may put the idea of coming back out into his brain. ;)

But you just got there! Why are you already thinking of moving again?

Because we bought this as a rental property to begin with. We're fixing it up and then intend to let it out to a middle-aged lady or high-ranking enlisted person. We're going to be scoping out Texas at the end of this month since California is getting too expensive.

Ah...that makes sense. Good luck with your future real estate empire :)
