The Dangers of Role Playing.

http://www.elijahlist.com/index.php

I'm becoming convinced that a lot of Christians are just way into this First-Century themed LARP someone came up with.

Huh?
A fundamentalist reason for why I can't stand honey. Reject the straightjacket rules/regs AND reject the prop.

LARP = Live Action Role Playing. Except instead of being live-action Dungeons and Dragons they're playing at being Bible characters or something.

I have no idea what your sentence means.

Oh, I read the articles and there was one about the guy who hated honey. But, when he realized that honey was food from God (it's in the Bible, after all), he had an epiphany. ::sighs::

I wonder why he didn't decide to love the smell of burning animal flesh, too. After all, the Bible say that's a "sweet smelling oblation".

I can't even figure out what the blog is "about" beyond everyday sanctity. Which is quite a large subject.

A long time ago when my grandmother used to drag me and my siblings to church, she put us in this Vacation Bible School that had a "LARP" theme as you put it (each room was a different story from the Bible, complete with people in "historically accurate" garb, etc.) We'd eat pita bread and pretend to be 1st-2nd century Christians or whatever. I got really into it and actually wanted to be one of the cast members when I was old enough, but by the time I was in high school, the congregation didn't even exist anymore (not that I was Christian at that point anyway but whatever, I probably would've still done it).

That blog should be called "Yo-Yos for Yeshua."

It is culturally appropriating Jewish traditions to convert Jews away from their own religion and culture to Christianity. I have never heard of an actual Jew who is not pissed off by this tactic. I am waiting for a Jewish website that targets Christians with rational explanations for Jesus.
