Sunday

Steve and I are feeling a lot better. I'd gone to church last night, so there was nothing to do this morning but get up and sit with Mei-Mei to watch George Stephanopolous. Today's guest was Shimon Peres, not unexpectedly. NBC has decided to put "Meet the Press" on at the same time as George S., the bastards. Given a choice, George S. wins out because he's less of a party hack than anybody at NBC and also he has George Will on every week.

In contrast to the last week or so when Mei-Mei has stayed in the bedroom and only awakened at night, she was alert and hanging out with us in the main room all day.

Time just sort of frittered away. I studied my civil procedure and did some reading, but the only really productive things I did were apply for three jobs online and bake two loaves of bread.

I'm now having some hot tea to ease the itch in my throat and then off to bed to go read.

If I continue to improve, I want to go running Tuesday. Work, weather and health have kept me from doing it for about three weeks and my muscles are feeling squashy. One little mile to start with. Just one.

Hot tea is the only thing I know of to help with throwing up and nausea. No medications have ever been helpful. I know the Chinese use tea for medicinal purposes plus I additionally enjoy a variety of flavors.

I'm glad all of you are feeling much better.

I'm happy to read that all three of you are feeling better. I hope the weather co-operates for the anticipated run.

Hugs,
