Okay, wrong kind of football

Good weekend so far, aside from more evidence that the Army has a dedicated program with the goal of wrecking my life. More on that some time in the future.

On the other hand, the car is fixed and working well and the NEX didn't squawk at all when we said we wanted to exchange the toaster. New toaster works fine.

Today americanstd, Ryan, Ryan's brother Steve, Steve's friend Jimmy, zeonchar and I claimed our reserved table at Hooter's for Superbowl. I was vaguely supporting Pittsburgh because of the east coast connection, and my team won, so that was nice. Great game though, with a lot of nail-biting action, edge-of-your-seat runs for the end zone and even some hockey-style fighting. I feel disgusting from Hooter's food, but oh well. At least I had a good run yesterday.

And now to watch some more "Last Exile" with americanstd to round out Caturday.

I'm going to be making us dinner before we go there. The light beer is okay but the food isn't. Drink green tea to counter all the sodium you took in.

Hmm, I wonder if I actually have any.

Yeah, I think I'm going to cut down of the food there too. I like the light beer too, but usually I am so busy I haven't been able to eat beforehand. But I am really going to try in the future.

They have green salads, so an option is soup and salad. I've done that. Or grilled cheese and salad.

Yay for working car and good weekend!

I found the article you called about. To clarify: Elite itself is not a non-profit, and never was. But there's an associated nonprofit through which Elite got discounts/subsidies on city services associated with the RNRM, that seems to mostly be giving its money back to Elite. :/ So still some shady-seeming dealings. Will be interesting to keep an eye on.

Thank you for the heads-up!
