Prohibition

It are repealed.

And a good thing too, because I found out today my Monday-Wednesday job ends on Wednesday next.

I've lined up what my resources are. I still have my family law job. Steve really needs someone to work in his office during the day--he's flooded and overwhelmed. That doesn't pay me directly, but it helps his business along, which helps both of us. Plus I've decided to apply for jobs in the face of massive uncertainty.

Lent or no Lent, this is not the time to be cutting out any stress relievers. Instead I'll cultivate a discipline of positive attitude.

I'm sorry about the job, but being free to help Steve sounds really good. You never know where that might lead, either.

Remember: Hildegard says that beer is GOOD!

Seriously, you need to move to some country where wine is an ingrained part of daily culture and not regarded as a vice as it is in our Puritanical world. I think alcoholism rates are much lower in traditional wine-drinking countries like France and Italy.

Ugh...I'm sorry about the job. :( Your ex-boss sounded like a total tool and a bitch, though. (was this the one that kept bouncing paychecks?)

No no no, this was the Estate Planning job that I LIKE. I always lose the jobs I like and keep the ones that give me IBS.
