Christmas came early!

Today when I picked up the mail there were two large Flat Rate boxes for me. I opened them when I got them back to the office and inside were our household Playstation 1 and Playstation 2, with games. americanstd wanted to find them a home, pending getting a PS3.

When I announced that the Playstations were here, faces in the office lit up. I ran into MAJ T in the laundry room later and apparently there is MUCH rejoicing over having these! I expect to see the PS2 hooked up tomorrow; I'm leaving that to one of the Commo guys to handle.

I also submitted the memo to get MWR unit funds so I can buy stuff for a Halloween party.

Some bad news: They refused to let a doc see me at sick call since I'd had this pain for a while. So I have to wait till Tuesday. In the meantime, I'm hoping the pain subsisdes enough for me to hit the treadmill just walking uphill. Not happy about this; I don't like missing exercise.

Yaaaaay for mindless entertainment, lol.

As for the exercise, I keep getting a creepy feeling about you and your knee. Can you not do weights and other cardio in the meantime?

Oh ... you want some cool weather? Please, take some of ours. Keep it for a while.

Problem is, almost all cardio is LEGS. The only one that isn't is swimming, and I don't have a bathing suit, nor do I really like being in water. I can always concentrate on upper body and abs, I suppose.

What kind of creepy feeling?

Just that pushing it will not allow it to heal properly and then you'll have permanent problems (as if you didn't already have a predisposition for it).

Yeah, I agree. I'm trying to figure out what won't hurt my knee but I've GOT to exercise.

Any games you guys are looking for/need? I don't mind doing a gamestop run to support the troops. :) If I can't find it, odds are the Frood can.
