Caturday, October 10

Here are the days of the week:

Not Caturday.
Not Caturday!
Not Caturday yet, cat!
Almost Caturday
Caturday Eve (Erev Caturday for Jewish cats)
2nd Day of Caturday

Yesterday's Caturday was dull around here. Steve had a meeting with another lawyer, then had dinner with Ryan (I'm burned out on On The Border which is where they were), then came home and suffered a hellish headache until about midnight, not related to his dinner. I stayed home and puttered, burning CDs to iTunes so I can get rid of them (space saving measure), washing clothes and washing a few shows on Hulu.

Today I rode my bike to church and realized I was an hour early. No explanation for why I thought the 0930 was at 0830. There's a new cafe across from church, a tiny place next door to the offices of San Diego Pride. I got a smoothie, which tasted like it was from a mix, but I simply think I ordered the one bad thing on the menu. The coffee smelled great and they do their own baking, so maybe I'll try those next time.

After church, I fetched burritos and now I'm watching the Packers/Redskins game. Things don't look good for the Skins but the Packers are really playing well.

I wouldn't be too sure. Granted that I'm diabetic and more sensitive to the impact of diet on my mental & physical state, but I've noticed that when my blood sugar is too high or too low, it affects my head in really unpleasant ways. It may have been carbohydrate overload, it may have been MSG, but I wouldn't automatically rule out the food.

He had the headache BEFORE the food. He was hoping a meal and some caffeine would alleviate it but no such luck. We don't know what kind of a headache it was.

Ah. I'm sorry; must have misread the post. Good luck figuring out what the problem is and whupping it.
