So, I've been doing South Beach Phase 1 for six days now. My goal was to lose 15 pounds. The first five have come off, but now I've been at a plateau for three days, 10 pounds higher than I want to be. I'm starting to get discouraged, since I'm busy and it's hard to eat right and I'm stuck eating the same thing over and over because it's what in the fridge and I don't have time to cook.

Frustrated now, not to mention hungry.

Anthro just released a new skirt like the one you wanted, if this will cheer you up?

For me what finally worked was to just stop worrying about it. The only 'work' I did was to try to listen to my body and eat slowly.

Isn't that a bit fast? I was always taught that it wasn't good to lose more than 2 lbs per week.

On Atkins/South Beach 1 lb a day is the norm for induction. I dropped 5 lbs and then nothing for the past five days, no matter how strict I was being.

Yes that phase one is a killer, hang in there. Hard to believe you have a problem with weight though, with all the exercise you get

I spent July and the first week of August eating and not exercising, so I packed on the pounds.
