Things that are getting on my nerves

The 11th MP BN. I can't call them "my new unit" anymore because I've been with them for almost six months now. At formation last month they put out that sign in time would be 9 a.m. I found out through the grapevine on Monday that it's actually back to 7 a.m. Then they put out the schedule for the day, which gave 8:15 a.m. as sign-in time, but don't be fooled! It's still really 7 a.m. I've alerted my troops; let's see how many don't get the message.

Other things: the hippies. When Ashley just lived with her sister, there were drum circles, sure, but also a happy vibe and doggies running around. Suddenly the sister vanished from the scene and this creepy stage actor-looking guy appeared. We only ever see him standing on the back deck, screaming into his cell phone. The atmosphere is now silent, the windows covered up from inside which they weren't before. One dog disappeared over Thanksgiving and the other was left outside, crying in distress in 38 degree weather and rain.

I confronted Creepy Guy about it. He said the dog was "freaking out" so he put it outside, and no it wasn't cold or wet. Um yeah, BULLSHIT. I called the Humane Society. They came and left a note to them to shelter the dog. Ashley briefly saw me as I was leaving for work and said, "Did you call the HS on me?" I said I'd called them on "that guy who's at your house". "Unbelievable!" she snipped, and I haven't seen her since. Creepy Guy yes, her no.

Crazy Old Man Bob next door to us, who lives with Emily the Abomination (half Labrador retriever, half pug, 100% sweet dog but an Abomination nonetheless) has the same reaction to Creepy Guy we do. I think we're all going to have to keep an eye on that house.
