It's a show about nothing.

Steve had court early in the morning in L.A. County on Monday, so he drove up there Sunday afternoon. This is only the third or fourth time in a decade that I've been at home while Steve has spent the night away. It was always a little eerie being alone at night in the little cottage and I don't know why, but it wasn't spooky in the condo. I got ravioli from Venice Pizza and watched bad movies on Netflix. Really bad. Like "Kevin Nash as Odin" in the SyFy blockbuster hit (NOT!) "Almighty Thor". Then a 1980s crazed-killer-after-teens flick called "The Funhouse" which while dated as all heck was entertaining in its own cheesy way.

My fur children, however, were TERRIBLE. They spent the night yelling and fighting on the bed. Ivan took a huge, exceptionally stinky dump on the tile of the bathroom floor and even Lalat's midnight poo was disgusting. I don't remember what flavour appetizer I gave them, but they're not getting it again.

Today was slow until my appointment with the DMV to get my stickers. I hadn't changed my address, so my registration was sent to the cottage. That was at 2:50, then my car had big brake repairs and was ready, then I had a harp lesson. The repair bill was painful, but this car has been serving me very, very well for the most part.

Ivan goes to get his annual checkup tomorrow.

OMG I watched that Syfy Thor movie too. I had to after I saw a screencap of Thor firing an Uzi

That was about the only good moment in that whole thing.
