So we went, and Steve had a great time watching me squee at the animals. We saw belugas, and walruses, and orca, and sea otters, and sea lions. We watched the sea lion show, saw the orcas hanging out in their pool between shows (the whole Sea World orca community is its own pod), took the sky gondola ride, and went on the Manta, which is their new roller coaster. I wasn't sure if I would like the Manta, as it's been over 20 years since I went on a roller coaster, but I did.
The Navy provided a lunch, which was burgers and/or chicken fajitas. The food was pretty good and the "meta-cookie" we had for dessert was novel: chocolate chip cookies where the chips were broken up Oreos.
We came home really tired, but as I hadn't seen Ryan in a while we went to Hooters for a couple of pints and fish tacos.
I watched the movie "The Immortals". It's visually murky and the story makes zero sense. Give it a pass. I also started watching the anime series "Sergeant Frog" which looks silly.
Quieter day today.
